On Thursday special guests came to Bialystok — Sybiraks. They came from all over Poland, to participate in an important for the Sybiraks’ community event, which is the opening of the Sybir Memorial Museum.

The Museum’s employees and volunteers, whose task now is to take care and give support to Sybiraks, welcomed the guest at the railway station. Ultimately, nearly 300 representatives of Siberian unions are expected to attend the ceremony.

On Friday guests will take part in the celebrations of the opening of the Sybir Memorial Museum. On the schedule of the day there is visiting the exhibition, before it is available to visitors. Thanks to it Sybiraks will be able to visit the exposition in a subtle atmosphere, share their expressions and memoirs.

The presence of Sybiraks  during that special day is very important to the Museum. We appreciate the hard journey, that they willingly took to get to Bialystok and take part in the celebrations.
