The first group of visitors appeared at the Sybir Memorial Museum yet before 10 a.m. Among people who decided to see the permanent exhibition in the Saturday morning were not only the citizens of Bialystok, but also from Poland. The exposition brought emotions.

– An amazing experience from the entrance. The history of those people we were told about, is something scary.  May we never have to experience anything like this. Incredible tragedy… So far, what I remember are freight cars and what they were taking. They took something that could be useful for their life, and at the same time these items were a souvenir – said one of the visitors.

– For me this exhibition is nothing new, because I am a Sybirak. I stayed there for 7 years. For me it is normal, for someone who has not been there everything is new. All the exhibits are similar to what I saw there. For me, this tour is a repetition, a reminder of what was there. Everything is nicely done here. I like it. It has a very modern interior — summed up the Sybirak visiting the exhibition.
