In two hours, the 4th Sybir Memorian Run will begin. This year’s edition takes place in two formulas: off-road and virtual. At 17:00, participants of the off-road version of the event will meet in the Solnicki Forest to cover the 5-kilometer route on which the stagings are included. There are over 600 people on the start list of the run.

Reasons why people run are different — some run to commemorate Sybiraks, whose names and surnames they could chose during the registration process, some commemorate members of their families taken to the ‘inhuman land’ — their names and surnames can be graveled on a medal. Others run just for sport, but also to show they remember about the victims of the first mass deportation of Poles deep into the Soviet Union.
