  • February 7, 2024, 7:00 p.m. – the Second Siberian Ambient Salon

We invite you to the meeting, during which you will be able to experience a fascinating mixture of sounds, which are based on Siberian nature that is full of horror and at the same time beauty of this ‘inhuman land’. This year’s Siberian Ambient Salon is an extension of the musical background that is usually included at the permanent exhibition of the Sybir Memorial Museum — background that encourages imagination and emotions of visitors and helps them move in time and space experienced by Poles deported to Siberia.

  • February 8, 2024, 6:00 p.m. — curator guided tour accompanying the exhibition ‘Only Pain is Mine’

‘Only Pain is Mine’ is an exhibition prepared by women — about women. What did their Siberia look like and how they remembered it. Katarzyna Śliwowska — Head of the Collection Department of the Sybir Memorial Museum will show you around the exhibition.

Free tickets can be taken at the ticket office of the Sybir Memorial Museum from January 26, 2024.

  • February 9, 2024, 1:30 p.m. — Memory of Siberia. (Un)easy neighborhood — difficult topics in the guide’s message

The event is organized as part of the 13th National Forum of Tourist Guides.

  • February 9, 2024, 5:00 p.m. — ‘The Light of Remembrance’

The ceremony in front of the building of the Sybir Memorial Museum. Sybiraks, residents of Białystok and the city authorities will lay flowers in front of the monument dedicated to the ‘Heroic Mothers of Sybir’ and light candles that illuminate the railway tracks disappearing inside the Museum.

  • February 10, 2024, 12:00 o’clock — official celebrations commemorating the 84th anniversary of the first mass deportation

The event will take place in front of the Monument-Tomb of the Unknown Sybirak, which is located next to the Holy Spirit Parish — 2 Sybiraków Street, Białystok

  • February 10, 2024 r., 1:00 p.m. — laying flowers in front of the monument commemorating the Heroic Mothers of Sybir

The event will take place on the square in front of the Sybir Memorial Museum.

  • February 10, 2024 r., 5:45 p.m. — The Sybir Memorial Run — the opening ceremony

The Sybir Memorial Run is an initiative commemorating the events from 84 years ago, so the first mass deportation to Siberia. This year’s edition of the event will take place in the Turczyński Forest at 6:00 p.m. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
