The Sybir Memorial Run is an event organized by the Sybir Memorial Museum and the Bialystok Biega Foundation. The event appreciated by runners is very popular among sports enthusiasts. 880 people signed up for this year’s stationary run in Bialystok.

The event was to take place — as in the previous edition — in the Solnicki Forest. For technical reasons, independently from organisers, the event was moved to the Turczyński Forest.

— As result of the taken actions, we will implement all our plans – we will prepare a safe route and arrangements on the route of the run, so eagerly awaited by participants every year — says Piotr Popławski, PhD, head of the Department of Educational and Cultural Projects of the Sybir Memorial Museum.

The most convenient entrance to the Turczyński Forest is located near the shopping center at I.J. Paderewskiego 10, on the border of the Nowe Miasto and Kleosin estates.

The date of the run and the mode of operation of the Competition Office remain unchanged. The Race Office will be open at the Sybir Memorial Museum on the day of the run from 11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m, and the start of the 5th Sybir Memorial Run is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

The 5th Sybir Memorial Run will also have its virtual edition (304 participants are already registered, you can join until February 28), as well as a stationary one in Wrocław — February 18 in the Osobowicki Forest. So far, 266 participants have signed up for the run in the capital of Lower Silesia.
