
“Exhibit of the Month” and “The Extraordinary Life of Bronisław Piłsudski”
On June 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. there will be another edition of the “Exhibit of the Month” series. This time, the presentation will be combined with a meeting with Danuta Onyszkiewicz, great-granddaughter of Józef Piłsudski. The meeting will be held on the same day at 6:00 p.m. Both events will concern the figure of Józef Piłsudski’s brother — Bronisław Piłsudski — a Polish exile, ethnographer, dealing with the peoples and cultures of the Far East.

“Deportations of Nations”. Discussion about the book “Lithuanians by the Laptev Sea”
On June 19, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. there will be a discussion about Dalia Grinkevičiūtė’s book “Lithuanians by the Laptev Sea. This book is considered to be an extremely important work of Lithuanian Literature of the 20th century. The meeting will revolve around the topic of deportations, which the Soviets used as a tool of repression against entire nations. Guests from Lithuania — a translator and researchers of Siberia will talk about the book.

“And we were walking, walking — undefeated!”
On June 21, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. we invite you to the event entitled “And we were walking, walking — undefeated!” commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Association of Siberian Deportees. During the meeting there will be a presentation of the latest issue of “Zesłaniec” — a valued historical magazine about Sybir, Siberia and tsarist and Soviet repressions. The main subject of this issue is the anniversary of the Association of Siberian Deportees.

“Children in Siberia. Family Tour to the Permanent Exhibition”
“Children in Siberia. Family tour to the permanent exhibition” is the latest proposal prepared by the Sybir Memorial Museum, which will allow you to see the exhibition from a slightly different perspective than usual. This time we will look at the subject of exile, focusing on the fate of children. Selected exhibits, photographs and reports from the Museum’s collection will guide us through their stories. A special thematic path will be available only on June 3, 2023 at 5:45 p.m. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes. The offer prepared for families is adapted to both adults and children over 7 years old.
Those, who decide to take advantage of the offer will be able to buy tickets at lower prices: reduced ticket will cost 10 PLN (is entitled to those who have turned 7, but hasn’t turned 18), and regular ticket 20 PLN.
