With the release of the fifth volume, our publishing adventure came to an end — the letters on the spines formed the word S-Y-B-I-R.

We are particularly proud of this series. In these five volumes, thanks to eminent historians, we managed to present the history and importance of Polish Siberia in a cross-sectional and accessible way.

Each book has many illustrations, maps, diagrams, and reproductions of photos and paintings. There is no shortage of photos of exhibits from our collections.

These are publications, that one does not only read, but also looks through it with interest. We believe that in this way we can make more people turn on to history.

The opening speech will be delivered by Alicja Knast, an experienced museologist and cultural manager, in the years 2014-2020 the Director of the Silesian Museum in Katowice, from 2021 the Head of the National Gallery in Prague.
