“Guided Tours Sundays” is an offer for individuals who would like to see the permanent exhibition of the Sybir Memorial Museum in the company of a guide who is also an employee of the Museum. This offer is valid on Sundays in March at 9:45 a.m. Tickets cost 35 PLN (regular) and 30 PLN (reduced).

— Our employees know the exhibition very well, some of them participated in its creation — says Monika Szarejko, Head of the Permanent Exhibition Department. “They have all undergone the same training and examination that we require from our certified third-party guides” — she points out.

A pool of 25 tickets was provided for each Sunday visit, but the Museum was ready to welcome even the smallest number of people. — It was nice to see that our idea met with such a response — admits Paweł Kalisz, who guided the guests on the first Sunday of March. — Among the visitors that day there were also descendants of Sybiraks — he adds.

The available pool of tickets was bought already in the second week of the offer’s validity, but the Museum’s box offices are still receiving calls. “Due to such great interest, we extend the campaign for another month. Tickets for April are now available — says the Director of the Sybir Memorial Museum, professor Wojciech Śleszyński.
