The picture used to wander about the world since the January Uprising. It got to Sybir for the first time in 1863 with Konstanty Szrodecki, who was sent there for his participation in the Uprising.
It returned to the Motherland after 15 years. In 1915 Szrodeccy took it to the East, being forced to leave their home at the time of biezenstwo. April 13, 1940 the Szrodecki family was deported to Kazakhstan. The picture went there with them. After the Second World War the picture was in London.
