The Sybir Memorial Museum organizes a series of thematic meetings, the common denominator of which are the distant territories of Siberia and Kazakhstan. The invited guests — authors, photographers, travelers — will present cultural, ethnographic, artistic, natural and historical themes. There will be talks, presentations, and concerts for audiences of all ages.

The topic of the next author’s meeting at the Sybir Memorial Museum is “Enchanted Baikal”. Piotr Malczewski — a well-known photographer and traveler will tell the story. Together with him, we will travel to the shores of Lake Baikal to discover the secrets of this place.

Conversation about the book by Piotr Malczewski entitled “Baikal. Tales of the Holy Sea” will be accompanied by a presentation of photos taken in the region of the deepest lake in the world — Baikal.
