Their commitment, expertise, and long-standing support have been invaluable to the development of the Museum.

During the meeting, the Museum Council paid tribute to the recently deceased Prof. Antoni Kuczyński — an outstanding specialist in the history of Siberia, long-serving editor-in-chief of Zesłaniec, and, above all, a great friend of the Sybir Memorial Museum.

The Museum Council plays a key role in overseeing the fulfilment of the institution’s mission and advising on its activities. We would like to thank all members — both those concluding their term and those beginning a new one — for their commitment to preserving and promoting the memory of Siberia.
