Over 1,500 people joined us throughout the evening, and we are extremely grateful that you chose to spend this special night with us.

The first guests arrived as early as 4:00 p.m., enjoying a variety of activities. Visitors explored the gaming zone, prepared in collaboration with the Johnny’s Playing Białystok Foundation. They also took advantage of a free body composition analysis offered by the Podlaskie Branch of the National Health Fund (NFZ), learned the basics of first aid from the Emergency Notification Center, and experienced an eco-friendly zone as part of the event.

Tours of the permanent exhibition began at 6:00 p.m., with the first group guided by the Museum’s Director, Professor Wojciech Śleszyński.

The evening was filled with emotion, touching moments, and reflection. Visitors eagerly shared their thoughts and personal stories. One visitor said,

“I found the exhibition deeply engaging. It’s a part of our history, and I believe it’s worth seeing and passing on as a warning — to remember that such horrific events took place and must never happen again.”

For Ania, the exhibition had a special personal meaning:

“This exhibition has a personal dimension for me because my grandmother was deported to Siberia and shared many stories that are discussed here. The building itself is beautiful, so it’s truly worth visiting!”

“I’m deeply moved. It’s remarkable how the Polish people endured so much repression and still remained unbroken”, said Dariusz.

Thank you for joining us on this special night. We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming events!
