During summer holidays, on Tuesdays and Thursdays (July 2 – August 8), we invite you to family workshop. It’s a great opportunity to spend time actively with your loved ones while learning about the history of our country.
FAMILY WORKSHOP
On Tuesdays, we invite you to workshop ‘Polish Children in Japan,’ where we will learn about the history of young Polish boys and girls. We will discover how they ended up so far away in Russia and how, thanks to the help of the Japanese government, they managed to reach the ‘Land of the Rising Sun.’ Various activities referring to Japanese culture, such as Kamishibai theater, will help us in this. At the end, participants will decorate commemorative bags using the Japanese technique hapa zome.
Price: 15 PLN per person
- Age of participants: 6–12 years
- Time: 1:00 p.m.
- Duration: approx. 60 minutes
On Thursdays, we will explore the story of Wojtek the Bear — the most distinctive soldier of General Anders’ Army. The workshop ‘The Bear Who Became a Soldier’ is a fascinating journey across three continents, accompanied by puzzles involving many senses and stimulating imagination. At the end, each participant will have the opportunity to make a commemorative pin.
