Christmas is a special time when the Sybir Memorial Museum seeks to celebrate the memory of the difficult times and support for all the Sybiraks from Białystok and the surrounding areas. Maintaining contact with them is extremely important to the Museum, as Sybiraks have been an integral part of its community from the very beginning, actively participating in many events organized by the Museum.

This year’s edition of the campaign “Package for a Sybirak” was truly unique. Christmas gifts were prepared with commitment by the staff of the Sybir Memorial Museum. Givers and volunteers also pitched in to help package the products.

Thanks to the friendliness and kindness of so many people, we managed to prepare 300 gifts. Some are delivered personally by Museum employees, while others will be sent by post.

This year’s packages included natural soaps, Museum gadgets, teas, honey, sweets, and other food products. Among the givers were: Biacomex S.A., Fundacja Arhelan „Społecznie Odpowiedzialni”, Kancelaria Prawa Gospodarczego i Podatkowego Marek K. Wynimko, Mydlarnia Cztery Szpaki, PSS Społem w Białymstoku oraz Unibep S.A.
