“RzeczyViste” is an installation that aims to draw attention to the fate of Polish citizens deported deep into the Soviet Union in 1940-1941. Through its unusual form, it is supposed to intrigue and surprise the audience.
The installation is a metaphor of an open suitcase. The items collected in it were selected so as to correspond to those that accompanied people deported to Siberia. There is a black or white plate with a brief description of its owner’s fate in front of each. It contains basic information about the deportee: name, age and place of deportation.

The author of the installation is Karolina Mosiej-Zambrano. Paweł Kalisz was responsible for substantive development.
So far, the installation has been presented in Poznań, Lublin, Białowieża, Łódź, Supraśl and Białystok.
