On March 14, i.e. as is our tradition — on Thursday — we invite you at 6:00 p.m. to the meeting entitled ‘In the footsteps of the labor camps. Expedition to the Kola Peninsula’. Piotr Kulczyna will talk about his expedition.

Tickets are now available at: bilety.sybir.bialystok.pl

Piotr Kulczyna is a forester by profession, working in Upper Silesia. He has been traveling in an off-road vehicle for years and shares his impressions from his trips in his books.

The first one is ‘The Road to the East’, in which he describes a 6-week trip with his son to Siberia and back to Mongolia through the Caucasus. They were traveling by car (Toyota BJ 42).

Piotr Kulczyna’s subsequent publications include the titles published as part of the ‘Podróż na Cztery Koła’ series: ‘Where Russia Ends’, ‘From Livonia to the Caucasus’, ‘Ukraine without a guide’, and ‘On horseback through Poland’ — Kulczyna is a masterful horseman.

During his subsequent trips, he visited, among others, the north part of Russia, including the Kola Peninsula — he will talk about this expedition, strongly marked by the presence of the traces of Soviet labor camps — during the meeting at the Sybir Memorial Museum.
