As part of the opening, the Sybir Memorial Museum prepared amazing attractions for the lovers of historical reconstructions. Visitors could see special displays of uniforms, weapons and military equipment performed by reconstruction groups from all over Poland.
- Grupa Historyczna Niepodległość 1863 presented how the January insurgents’ camp looked like, as well as conduct a bullet throwing show, tapping and sharpening scythes, writing with a quill dipped in an inkwell;
- Grupa Rekonstrukcji Historycznej “Policja Państwowa ’39” presented the profiles of the pre-war security services;
- Grupa Rekonstrukcyjna 24 Baonu KOP Sejny presented the activities of the Border Defense Corps;
- Szwadron Kawalerii im. 10 Pułku Ułanów Litewskich presented the profiles of cavalrymen, as well as the service of a heavy machine gun;
- Muzeum 2 Korpusu Polskiego presented the profiles of the Anders’ Army from their stay in the Middle East, and the Chevrolet Canada Dodge WC-51 truck;
- GRH LWP presented the profiles of the “Berling’s Army” soldiers;
- Biuro Rekonstrukcyjno – Technologiczne Zabytkowej Inżynierii Pojazdowej presented the TK-S Tankette and the Bren Carrier
- Kurpiowska Grupa Historyczna Ostoya presented the profiles of the January insurgents
