The upcoming event will be held under the theme “How to Speak So We Are Heard. How to Remember So the World Understands Us.” During the discussion, we will explore international cultural, educational, and exhibition projects carried out by the Sybir Memorial Museum, as well as thoughtful media communication aimed at international audiences and numerous initiatives dedicated to the Polish diaspora.

An important part of the meeting will also be the presentation of the perspectives of local organizations, including the Community of the Descendants of Sybiraks in Białystok, the Podlaskie Association for the Commemoration of the Descendants of Sybiraks, and the Association of Sybiraks. We will also address key issues related to the role of history in educating the Polish diaspora, responsibility and awareness of one’s own voice in international public debate, and the extraordinary power of first-hand testimony from those who witnessed history.

We warmly invite everyone interested in developing new and meaningful ways of telling the world about Poland’s past.
Admission is free.
