RzeczyViste… On the Move Again

Our travelling artistic installation “RzeczyViste” is once again touring across Poland.

After Białystok, it is time for the next stop on the map – Bielsk Podlaski.

“RzeczyViste” is an installation that recalls the fate of Polish citizens deported deep into the Soviet Union in 1940–1941. It is a metaphor of an open suitcase filled with objects similar to those taken by deportees to Siberia. Each item carries the story of a specific person – their name, age, and place of exile. The installation was created by Karolina Mosiej-Zambrano and Paweł Kalisz from the Sybir Memorial Museum.

On Thursday, we invite residents of Bielsk Podlaski to the Town Hall Square.

⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

More towns will be announced soon – stay tuned, as “RzeczyViste” may also appear in your area. And when that happens, and you see small objects on the ground that seem out of place, pause for a moment and take a closer look. Each one tells the story of a person deported to Siberia.
