They Came at Dawn – Educational Workshop and Curator-Led Tour of the Exhibition Art of Remembrance
During the workshop, participants will be introduced to selected situations faced by deported individuals, including a reconstruction of an arrest. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the items that deported families packed into their bundles and to listen to authentic testimonies of Sybiraks.
Following the workshop, a curator-led tour of the exhibition Art of Remembrance will take place. The exhibition presents four different perspectives on experiences related to World War II, expressed through the language of contemporary art.

“That Summer They Took Us From Our Home”: The June Deportations of 1940 and 1941 – Guided Tour of the Permanent Exhibition of the Sybir Memorial Museum
During the tour, the guide will explain the similarities and differences between the deportations of June 1940 and those of May–June 1941. It is a story of the loss of home, separated families, and attempts to survive in an entirely new reality, as well as of the objects, photographs, and testimonies that help preserve the memory of those events today.
