Participants of the workshops had the opportunity to first visit the temporary exhibition ‘Boundlessness in Sybir’ and then, divided into groups, create their own pieces of animation inspired by the history of deportations to Siberia and the concept of boundlessness.

Using the collage and hand-drawn animation technique, they jointly created a story of exile, based on authentic testimonies of witnesses to the tragic events of the past.
The workshops were conducted by Elwira Małyszko – an experienced animator and film educator, who ensured that participants gained insight into both the practical techniques of animation and the theoretical foundations of editing and animated film.
We would like to thank all the participants, for their presence and involvement!
