We aim to honor the memory of all those who experienced deportations to Siberia and Kazakhstan during 1940–1941 through this event.
The Sybir Memorial Run in Białystok will take place on February 8, 2025, in the Turczyński Forest.
The Sybir Memorial Run in Wrocław will be held in the Osobowicki Forest one week later, on February 15, 2025.
Like every year, both stationary race routes will feature artistic installations and historical reenactments. These elements are appreciated not only by runners but also by fans and Siberian survivors who join us every year for the event.

We encourage all interested participants who cannot run in Białystok or Wrocław to take part in the virtual edition. The challenge will take place from February 8 to February 28, 2025, and anyone from anywhere in the world can join – all you need to do is register on the website and drive up at least 5 kilometers at a time.
Participants of the virtual run, just like those taking part in the stationary edition of the run, will receive a race bib and a commemorative medal. The kilometers completed in the virtual run are added to the total pool of runners participating in the event.
You can register for the race at www.biegpamiecisybiru.pl/rejestracja.

We encourage you to take part in the initiative “I run for a Sybirak” when signing up for the on-site or virtual run. In the registration form, you can provide the name of a Sybirak (or his/her family) for whom you wish to run. This is a meaningful way to honor your relatives or commemorate those who have passed away.
The stories of deportees’ families are available at: www.biegpamiecisybiru.pl/historie-sybirakow
The chosen name will be printed on your race bib. For more details about this initiative, visit www.biegpamiecisybiru.pl/biegne-dla-sybiraka.
See you on the route!
The event is organized by the Sybir Memorial Museum, the Depot History Centre, and Białystok Biega Foundation.
