The educational activities at the Sybir Memorial Museum are designed to encourage participants to engage actively and collaboratively, supported by thoughtfully integrated multimedia.
The topics for the classes has been tailored to meet the current educational standards for various stages, as well as to suit the cognitive abilities and sensitivity levels of each age group. Our program features two types of classes: workshops and educational paths on the permanent exhibition. There’s also an option to combine these into a cost-effective package.

WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are conducted in small groups and feature hands-on activities that engage participants actively. These sessions offer an excellent opportunity for students to expand their knowledge not just in history, but also in geography, natural sciences, social studies, and mathematics. Students can expect a variety of engaging and diverse methods of learning, both individually and in groups, including quizzes, puzzles, ciphers, interactive tasks and experiments. The workshops are held in educational rooms equipped with tablets and VR goggles, as well as colourful maps filled with rich graphical information.
EDUCATIONAL PATHS
Our thematic tracks guide visitors through specific sections of the permanent exhibition. Leveraging modern infrastructure, we focus on select topics from the exhibition’s broad thematic range and present them in an accessible format. Portable multimedia devices enhance the experience by offering additional content not available during standard tours.

The topics for both workshops and educational paths are designed for students:
I. Elementary schools – grades 1-3
II. Elementary schools – grades 4-8
III. Secondary schools
We warmly invite you to participate in these extraordinary history lessons.
