“80 Years in New Zealand. The lives of Polish Children Evacuated from Siberia During World War II” – we invite you to a meeting with Tomasz Danilecki PhD who works in the Sybir Memorial Museum.
During the event, Tomasz Danilecki PhD will showcase the history of Polish children, who as a result of war-time wandering found shelter in New Zealand. The meeting will take place on February 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Asia and Pacific Museum.
The event will hold a promotion of a book by Tomasz Danilecki PhD “The Biggest Family of the World”, which tells the remarkable story of Polish orphans evacuated from the Soviet Union.
