On February 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the Asia and Pacific Museum will host a special event dedicated to the book “The Biggest Family of the World”, which tells the extraordinary story of Polish orphans evacuated from the Soviet Union.

“80 Years in New Zealand. The lives of Polish Children Evacuated from Siberia During World War II” – we invite you to a meeting with Tomasz Danilecki PhD who works in the Sybir Memorial Museum.

During the event, Tomasz Danilecki PhD will showcase the history of Polish children, who as a result of war-time wandering found shelter in New Zealand. The meeting will take place on February 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Asia and Pacific Museum.

The event will hold a promotion of a book by Tomasz Danilecki PhD “The Biggest Family of the World”, which tells the remarkable story of Polish orphans evacuated from the Soviet Union.
