The Sybir Memorial Museum invites you to take part in psychological workshops accompanying the exhibition \u201cBoundlessness in Sybir.\u201d The exhibition presents works by artists affiliated with the Institute of Art at the Faculty of Architecture of Bia\u0142ystok University of Technology. Inspired by the experiences of the Sybiraks, the artists explore the theme of boundlessness and limits \u2014 both in physical and emotional terms. In the first part of each workshop, participants will be introduced to the exhibition by Ewelina Kamie\u0144ska, curator of the temporary exhibition \u201cBoundlessness in Sybir.\u201d This introduction will serve as a starting point for reflection on the contemporary meaning of personal boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fate of the Sybiraks is not only a record of historical events \u2014 it is also a living experience that leaves a lasting mark on subsequent generations. Family narratives, both conscious and unconscious, can influence the way we shape our identity, build relationships, and cope with difficult emotions. How do events from the past shape our present lives? How can we consciously engage with this legacy in order to build a better future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the workshops is to help participants better understand the mechanisms through which family history affects their lives. The sessions will provide space for reflection, exchange of ideas, and working with one\u2019s own emotions in a safe and supportive atmosphere. These workshops are intended for anyone who wishes to better understand how the history of their ancestors influences their present and how to consciously shape the future by drawing strength from the experiences of previous generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invite you to two meetings that will take place in March and April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshops devoted to transgenerational transmission and the ways in which difficult experiences from the past influence our lives and the future of our loved ones. How can our grandparents\u2019 childhood experiences affect the lives of our children? How can we consciously work with this legacy so that we pass on strength rather than fear to future generations?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Releasing the Future \u2013 How to Build Happiness Despite Difficult Experiences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshops focused on how personal and family history shapes our everyday choices, relationships, and sense of happiness. How do difficult experiences from the past affect our present? What can we do to free ourselves from the burden of the past and find a path toward greater peace and well-being? How can we let go of emotional baggage and open ourselves to positive change in our lives?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artur Brzezi\u0144ski<\/strong> is a psychotherapist with many years of professional experience and a historian whose work focuses on the impact of transgenerational trauma on subsequent generations. He holds a Master\u2019s degree in History from the University of Warsaw (Bia\u0142ystok branch). He has completed postgraduate studies in social sciences and clinical sexology, as well as postgraduate psychotherapy training in the psychodynamic and systemic approaches, accredited by the Scientific Section of Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He previously worked as a history and civic education teacher and as a consultant for educational projects at the Teacher Training Centre in Bia\u0142ystok. He currently practices at the Integra Psychotherapy and Psychoeducation Centre in Bia\u0142ystok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his therapeutic work, he supports individuals experiencing difficulties related to transgenerational transmission and historical trauma, combining his interdisciplinary background in a distinctive way. His passion for exploring the influence of the past on contemporary life has established him as a respected specialist in his field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
