On Tuesday April 26, 2022 the Sybir Memorial Museum invited the authorities of a few cultural institutions from the Podlaskie voivodeship to the conference \u201cIncreasing the Accessibility of Cultural Institutions\u201d. It is the very first such initiative in region after the imposition of new legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Museums, galleries and cultural centers\u2019 employees, who serve (or will serve) as the role of the coordinator for availability came to W\u0119glowa 1. What does such a person take care of? Karolina Mosiej-Zambrano, the coordinator for availability in the Sybir Memorial Museum explains: \u201cThe coordinator\u2019s task is to make the institution’s activities available to the widest possible group of recipients, including those with special needs. The coordinator follows the current regulations, takes care of the implementation of appropriate solutions, and trains employees\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
