On 18 May, the white and red flag was hung on the walls of the monastery. The Battle of Monte Cassino was undoubtedly one of the most famous battles on the combat route of Anders’ Army. Monte Cassino is part of the great Siberian epic — the Poles deported deep into the Soviet Union, amnestied under the Sikorski-Mayski agreement formed the Polish army fighting alongside the allies.

The main leitmotif of our activities in May is the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino. We encourage you to get familiar with the event schedule.
