Siberians read ...
Bruno Schulz at the Sybir Memorial Museum? Of course! His short story 'My father joins firefighters' was read jointly by Siberian deportees, lecturers and students of the Bialystok Theater Academy of Aleksander Zelwerowicz in Warsaw (Department of Puppetry Arts) and actors of the Białystok Puppet Theater.
Barbara Olech (PhD) introduced audience into the world of imagination of the author of 'Cinnamon Shops'. In the hospitable interiors of the School Theater of the Theater Academy, readers introduced listeners into a maze of myths and symbols emerging from the writer's story. The ordinary has become unusual. We were carried away by the magic of Schulz's language and the world he had created.
Thank you to all readers, friends of institution and students of the 6th High School - King Sigismund Augustus in Bialystok and the 8th High School - Casimir the Great in Bialystok, who let to invite themeselves on this unusual literary trip.
