February 2, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. — „Light of Remembrance” — the celebration in front of the Sybir Memorial Museum. Sybiraks, citizens of Bialystok and the city’s authorities will put flowers in front of “the monument of the Sybirak mother” and light candles which will light up the tracks disappearing inside the Museum.

We invite everyone to commemorate over 140 thousand Polish citizens deported to “inhuman land” in the first mass deportation.

After the celebration at 7:30 p.m. in the Museum’s audiovisual room, the director, Wojciech Śleszyński and the scoutmaster, Krzysztof Jakubowski will sign up the agreement about the cooperation between the Sybir Memorial Museum and the Bialystok Region Headquarters of Polish Scouting Association in terms of common educational and cultural activities.

This day from 5:00 p.m. to midnight the building of the Sybir Memorial Museum will be highlighted in white and red.
