Eastern Film Academy – screening of Robert Glinski’s „Wszystko co najważniejsze” movie

On 13th October the Sybir Memorial Museum organised a meeting with a special guest. Mr Robert Gliński, a remarkable film director, participated in screening of one of his movies – “Wszystko co najważniejsze” (Everything that’s important). The event was a part of the Eastern Film Academy.

The movie tells a story of Ola and Aleksander Wat, whose love was exposed to extreme difficulties. They were separated by Soviet occupation and deportation to remote Kazakhstan. Eventhough the protagonists finally came back to Poland, but this wasn’t the end of their journey.

After the screening director Gliński answered questions asked by the guests. The discussion was moderated by Mr Adam Radziszewski, a local film expert.

The next meeting in the cycle of Eastern Movie Academy will take place in November.
